Hi, I'm Gen!
I've been viewing the world through a lens since my grandfather gave me his Canon AE-1 when I was 14. I remember the feeling of dropping-off a roll of film and waiting impatiently to see if anything good came out. It rarely did.
My first photography love was landscapes, and I've been fortunate to travel and learn from amazing photographers like Scott Reither in Maui and Ed Heaton in Grand Tetons National Park. In 2017, I assisted another photographer and photographed my first wedding (horribly!) and I was hooked on documenting people, and their most real moments and emotions.
Today, I'm fortunate to call myself a full time artist and wedding photographer. On most days, you'll find me photographing amazing people, working on my business, or hanging out with my amazing and supportive husband & 14 year old son.
Thanks for stopping by! View more of my work and connect with me here:

The 7AM Project
I've always found it fascinating that people from all walks of life start their days so differently. Something that can feel so routine and mundane to one person might be completely exotic and rare to another. And the fact that we all wake up, and begin anew every day - regardless of what that experience looks like - binds us.
The goal for this project is to capture a glimpse into the many varied ways in which people start their days, within a 15 mile radius of my home in Bordentown, New Jersey.
