I’m a documentary family and birth photographer living in New Jersey, halfway between Philadelphia and NYC. Personally and professionally I seek for my pictures to highlight both nuance and universality of the human experience, particularly as a woman.
In a past life I studied behavioral and evolutionary biology and served as a high school educator; I hold tight to my curiosity and reverence for the natural world and a passion to be both teacher and student.
I want to raise my daughters to trust their intuition and let their voices be heard in systems that often clash with such autonomy. I’ve been photographing this journey for ten years.
My sister bought me a T-shirt that summarizes my life at the moment: “She believed she could and she almost did, but someone asked for a snack and so she forgot."
